Sue has been working in NEIS for 15 years covering a variety of roles including trainer, mentor, training co-ordinator and manager for several different NEIS providers over the years. A large variety of businesses have crossed her path with a high rate of success to date. The industries that have participated include retail, manufacturing, accounting, on line marketing, hairdressing, acupuncture, film makers, fashion designers, bakers, engineers, garden and home maintenance, counselling, web site designers, graphic designers, personal and group trainers just to name a few.
Sue has been a director/employee in a family manufacturing company for 22 years where she was involved in the general running of the business and manufacture of vinyl signs for sign writers as well as producing many items for shipping lines, for example separation sheets for grain ships, pilot ladders, gangway nets, covers for equipment on deck, etc.
Sue currently runs a hobby business making greeting cards for all occasions and sell these at markets during the summer months to keep her artistic side flowing.
Sue’s strengths are legal, operations and finance and currently holds a Certificate IV in Accounting. This enables Sue to discuss income and expense projections individually with each client so they understand what the commitment is they are making to their business. Accounts are also discussed and reviewed during the mentoring stage of the business which helps them understand where the business is financially.
