“I was always known as the camper who “glammed up” the campsite. With each new camping experience, I’d add décor and beautiful items such as lanterns, lights, cushions, cosy bedding and Christmas decorations. I loved connecting with nature and enjoyed the outdoors, however, I didn’t enjoy roughing it”. So the seed of a business concept was born.

Michelle Brown connected with the NEIS program to gain the skills she needed to establish her business and the advantage of a mentor to guide her. Belle Glamping & Décor specialises in providing a Glamping Experience on the Central Coast & Hunter regions, by renting, erecting and theming belle tent suites for various occasions. Whether your style is Bo-ho, Moroccan, Rustic or Contemporary, Michelle styles her accommodation with luxe cushions, throws, ottomans and Manchester which provide a “glamping” rather than camping experience.

Michelle has established a core of sites that she services and provides a glamping experience for all sorts of occasions including weddings, romantic getaways, sleep overs, corporate team building….the choice is only limited to the imagination. She also cross markets her services with event destinations such as Glenworth Valley.

Michelle has grown her business to the point where she is now looking at engaging staff through the PATH Internship to help her with her workload.

“My Business is currently doing well and I am extremely busy with bookings, so it’s very exciting for me,” Michelle said.  “I could not have done this without Jane Simmonds’ help and support, she has been a fantastic mentor along my NEIS journey and I could not have done this without her expertise. Jane is an amazing and passionate mentor with so much knowledge to offer and I could not have wished for anyone better to teach me all about Small Business Management.”
